the glass is half full
Carver's first cup-interface preference was a straw. She has great travel water bottles with straws that we take with us nearly everywhere. But at meals, she's been using slightly modified, double-handled sippy cups. The modification is that Jeremy cut out the tiny piece that required the "sipping," so that instead, it's essentially a double-handled cup that requires a head-tilt-and-pour action. Today, for really no reason other than I thought to do it, I put water in a small glass jar for Carver to have at lunch. Turns out, she's a pro. :)
While I had the camera out, she was quite insistent that I get photos of her peanut butter hand, too. Who am I to turn down an invitation like that? :)
